Translation
Experience Workspace offers translation services from Google Translate out-of-the-box, which works without any additional configuration. However, Experience Workspace’s translation framework supports many different translation connectors, offers robust configuration options, and allows you to make your own connectors to other translation services.
Connector availability
The following translation connectors are available for use in Experience Workspace:
- Google Translate - The default connector everyone gets without any setup. Uses Google's Neural Machine Translation technology.
- Lionbridge - Providing AI, human, and machine translation capabilities.
- Smartling - Providing AI, human, and machine translation capabilities.
- Trados - Providing AI, human, and machine translation capabilities.
Setting up translation
Google Translate works out-of-the-box, but you can configure it to meet your particular needs. Please see the document Set up translation for more information.
Translation configuration
Translation works out-of-the-box, but allows for powerful configuration options to meet your translation and localization needs. Please see the document Translation config options for more information about the particular options available as well as Translation config samples for detailed examples of how to set up translation depending on your chosen service.
Connecting to a translation service
Translation works out-of-the-box with Google Translate and additional connectors are available. If you need to connect to another service, you can build your own connector.
